Textured Acrylic Yarn

Our textured acrylic yarn is a blend of 85% acrylic and 15% viscose, resulting in a soft, fluffy yarn that closely resembles wool. This unique yarn is created by blending high-shrinkage acrylic fibers with low-shrinkage fibers in a specific ratio (typically 40%–45% high-shrinkage acrylic fibers and 55%–60% low-shrinkage fibers). The spun yarn is heat-relaxed (steamed or boiled) at temperatures above 100°C, causing the high-shrinkage fibers to shrink and form a core, while the low-shrinkage fibers are pushed to the surface, creating a fluffy, soft texture. This process creates what is known as acrylic bulked yarn.
