High molecular weight polyethylene fiber braid, referred to as UHMWPE fiber, is a fiber spun from unbranched linear polyethylene with a molecular weight of 1 million to 5 million or more.

 

Low density: density is 0.97~0.98g/cm³, lighter than water, and can float on the water surface

Has outstanding impact resistance and cut resistance

Anti-ultraviolet radiation, neutron and Y-ray protection, high electromagnetic wave transmittance

Strength: 2.8-4N/tex

Modulus: 91-140N/tex

Elongation: 3.5%-3.7%

High molecular weight polyethylene fiber braid has an impact energy absorption that is twice as high as para-aramid fiber, but the melting point under stress is only 145-160℃
